Claudia Rezai

Claudia Faranak Rezai is a Kurdish-Iranian-Australian author with a Bachelor of Fashion Design and Technology and over two decades of experience within the world of fashion and bridal couture.

Her journey into writing began unexpectedly. In the years following 2020, Claudia found herself visited by vivid, consuming dreams — and one morning, without premeditation, she began to write.

Whether interrogating the ethics of ready-to-wear, meditating on the symbolism of the wedding gown, or unravelling a love story, her work is bound by one thread: a fearless curiosity about what it means to be human.

Fashion couture remains her greatest devotion and lifelong pursuit. But her pen, it seems, has always had a mind of its own.
